The food was absolutely delicious — we had the beef burger and fish tacos as our main courses, followed by the chocolate pudding and the apple pie. The apple pie was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. We’d read a few reviews mentioning slow service, but our experience was the complete opposite: service was impeccable and surprisingly fast. The overall atmosphere was fantastic, with live music and genuinely happy customers all around us.

Response from the owner

Thanks a million for the great review. We’re glad you enjoyed the food, especially the apple pie, and that the team looked after you so well. Lovely to hear you enjoyed the music and atmosphere too.

Tried the spaghetti lunch, came in a marinara sauce and included a small pice of garlic toast. It was all less than average, the sauce had very little flavor, the garlic toast was hard and tasted old. Waiter went m.i.a. without offering parmesan or chili flakes. The decor was a nice Irish pub, and the location is on the popular Shop Street. A disappointment overall.

Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your lunch did not meet expectations, particularly with the quality of the dish and the service provided during your visit. This is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver, and we will pass your comments on to the kitchen and floor team for review.

We’re glad you appreciated the décor and central location, and we truly value your honest feedback as it helps us improve. We hope you might consider giving us another try in the future so we can provide a much better experience.

Great food and super friendly service. The server swapped my fries for a salad and the salad was absolutely delicious. Burgers were tasty, as were our wings. There is a full bison mounted on the wall and I warmly suggest asking the staff for its story. You will get several different stories and all of them will be entertaining. How does a man accidentally buy a stuffed bison and then mount it on the wall? Beats me, but the flabbergasted reactions of other patrons were as amusing as the bison itself.

Response from the owner

Thank you for such a fantastic review! We're delighted you enjoyed the food and our friendly service, and we're especially glad the salad was a hit. It's great to hear the burgers and wings also hit the spot! As for our famous bison... we're glad you enjoyed the stories as much as the food! We think a little mystery keeps things interesting. Thanks again for your kind words, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!
